How it works
You join. Plans With You remembers you. From time to time we send you a plausible invitation to a small, ordinary plan. The date approaches. We cancel it on purpose. The relationship continues.
A plan, completed
The cancellation is the point.
Every ordinary plan is made on purpose, allowed to gather a little anticipation, then cancelled on purpose. You are not expected to attend. Nothing has gone wrong.

The invitation and cancellation stay together, so you can always tell what changed. The relationship carries on after the plan is unmade.

02 / status
We send the cancellation.
Invitations generally arrive 7–21 days before the date on them. Cancellations generally arrive 12–36 hours before it. The windows vary naturally; the outcome does not.
03 / continuity
You remain on the list.
A silent member is a successful member. You do not need to reply, attend, network, post, log in frequently, or perform a version of sociability for us.
What we remember / 02
Remembered, with permission.
We remember what you choose to share: a preferred name, a birthday, an address when you opt into physical mail, interests, pets, inside jokes and a do-not-mention list. You can see, edit and remove what we hold. We keep track of where a detail came from, and we do not use a suggestion unless you confirm it.
Physical mail, gifts, calls and help with a commitment are separate and optional. They happen only when your membership includes them, you have opted in, and we have what we need to do them properly. Change your mind and future work stops.

The details stay clear. People keep the promise.
Real operators review selected correspondence, print and post letters, choose gifts within a budget, make opted-in calls and handle the rare cancellation that needs human attention. If something cannot be completed safely or on time, it is handed to a person. Nothing is left hanging without an answer.
