Plain-language summary

By joining Plans With You, you agree to the following in plain language:

• You will receive invitations to constructed ordinary events. These events are not real in the way a conference or a wedding is real. They are constructed by Plans With You on purpose.
• Ordinary events are intended to be cancelled before the date. A completely silent member is a successful member. We will never charge a per-event surcharge.
• Some characters, locations, and references in our correspondence are fictional. We do not claim fictional people, places, or partnerships as real.
• AI and automation assist personalisation within the rules we set. A human operator reviews selected outputs and performs real-world tasks (print, sign, post, call, gift).
• Optional services are controllable. The default for every optional service is off. You can opt in, opt out, and revoke already-scheduled future work for any service.
• You can leave at any time. Cancellation stops future personalisation and any already-scheduled work for the cancelled services. Required records (e.g. financial records) are kept for the minimum period required by law.

Formal membership agreement

This section is the formal agreement between you and Plans With You Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "Plans With You"). The plain-language summary above is provided for clarity and is not the agreement.

1. Membership

1.1 Plans With You Pty Ltd operates a tiered membership program with three tiers: Member, Corresponding Member, and Deluxe Member. Pricing is per individual, per month, in Australian dollars. Tier capabilities are described on the membership page.

1.2 Membership is a month-to-month recurring subscription. We do not require an annual contract. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and stops future personalisation.

1.3 Paid activation is not available at the current waitlist launch. When billing is enabled, activation will require: (a) completion of identity verification; (b) acceptance of the current terms and privacy policy; (c) successful billing authorisation via the enabled billing provider; and (d) an activation confirmation recorded against your member record. Joining the waitlist satisfies none of these gates and collects no payment.

2. Constructed ordinary events

2.1 Plans With You will, from time to time, send you invitations to ordinary events. The cadence is set by your preferences (occasional, about monthly, a couple per month, or "use our discretion"). Cadence is honoured approximately, not exactly.

2.2 Ordinary events are constructed — that is, created by Plans With You on purpose. They are not real social, cultural, or commercial events of the kind advertised by a venue or a business. Locations referenced in invitations are real public addresses, but the events themselves are not real events at those addresses.

2.3 Plans With You intends to cancel every ordinary event before its scheduled start. The default cancellation window is 12 to 36 hours before the event; some cancellations land earlier ("merciful") and some later ("last minute"). Plans With You will not cancel an event after it has begun.

2.4 Cancellation is successful fulfilment, not failure. You are not expected to attend. A completely silent member is a successful member.

3. Fictional references

3.1 Plans With You correspondence may mention characters, locations, and references that are fictional. Real public addresses may be used as scene locations, but the events at those addresses are constructed by Plans With You and are not real events.

3.2 Plans With You will not claim fictional characters, locations, or partnerships as real people, places, or commercial partners. If a real third party is referenced (e.g. a real public café as a scene location), Plans With You will not represent that third party as endorsing, sponsoring, or hosting the constructed event.

4. Optional services

4.1 Optional services include: posted correspondence, gifts, calls, manufactured commitments, and the real-world appearance service. Each optional service is an explicit opt-in. The default for every optional service is off.

4.2 You may opt in or opt out of any optional service at any time. Opting out of a service pauses that service and cancels any already-scheduled future work for that service. Other membership actions continue unaffected.

4.3 The real-world appearance service is a separate paid service, not bundled with any tier. Travel and substantial preparation are quoted separately. Plans With You will not provide a representative for any purpose involving impersonation of real authorities, fraud, harassment, or illegal activity.

5. Personalisation consent and memory

5.1 Plans With You will use the confirmed facts you have shared, plus your stated preferences, to personalise correspondence. You may view, edit, or remove any confirmed fact at any time from the member portal. You may mark any fact as "do not mention" andPlans With You will respect that.

5.2 Plans With You will not infer sensitive personal categories for personalisation. Plans With Youwill not use your data to train general AI models. Plans With You will not sell your data or share it with third parties except as required to deliver the service.

5.3 AI may propose candidate facts (e.g. a fact inferred from an inbound message). Candidate facts are stored separately and require your explicit confirmation before they are used in correspondence. Plans With You will not invent facts about you.

6. Physical fulfilment consent

6.1 Posted correspondence and physical artefacts will only be sent to the postal address on your member record. Surprise packages are sent only if you have explicitly opted in to them.

6.2 Plans With You sets real, transparent budget limits on physical fulfilment. Budgets are described on the membership page. Plans With You will not independently make expensive purchases; operator approval is required for any purchase above the published per-item threshold.

7. Call consent

7.1 Calls require explicit opt-in. The default is no calls. When calls are enabled,Plans With You will only call within the window you have specified. Voicemail is used only if you have explicitly opted in to it.

7.2 Calls are scripted and reviewed for do-not-mention compliance. The caller identifies as calling from Plans With You and will not impersonate a third party.

8. Manufactured commitments

8.1 A manufactured commitment is a consensual artificial social obligation. You may ask Plans With You to construct a plausible scenario, confirm it, and use it to create useful pressure toward a goal you have set. Plans With You will then explicitly cancel the scenario.

8.2 You may abort a manufactured commitment at any time. Aborting cancels the scenario and clears future reminders. Nothing dangles.

9. Cancellation, refunds, and termination

9.1 You may cancel your membership at any time from the member portal. Cancellation stops future personalisation and any already-scheduled work for the cancelled services. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period.

9.2 Refunds for the current billing period are at our discretion. We do not charge per-event, per-RSVP, or per-cancellation, so there is no per-event refund pathway.

9.3 We may suspend or terminate a membership that materially breaches these terms, including (a) abusive conduct toward operators, (b) fraudulent use of optional services, or (c) use of the appearance service for prohibited purposes.

10. Privacy and data

10.1 Your data is handled under the published privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

10.2 Account deletion stops future personalisation and triggers the data-removal workflow. Required records (e.g. financial records) are kept for the minimum period required by law and then removed.

11. Limitation of liability

11.1 To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11.2 Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, condition, or warranty that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Changes to these terms

12.1 We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, effective date, and content hash are always published on this page. We will notify you by email of any material change.

12.2 Re-acceptance of an updated document does not by itself re-charge or change your membership. If you do not agree to an updated version, you may cancel.

13. Governing law

13.1 These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
